Live Sound & Sound Design
Engineering, system design, and technical execution for stage and performance.
Overview
My work in live sound covers both musical performance and theater production. This includes front-of-house and monitor engineering, as well as the technical design of the sound systems themselves.
I focus on the entire signal chain—from physical speaker placement and RF coordination to the final mix. The goal is always a reliable, consistent experience for both the audience and the performers.
Approach
I treat live sound as a balance between technical planning and real-time adjustment. In theater, this involves mapping out coverage and programming complex cues. For live bands, it's about creating a stable stage environment so the performance can happen without technical friction.
I prioritize preparation—solving potential issues like RF interference or playback failure during the design phase rather than during the show.
